mybodyphilosophy

mybody is an innovative probiotic skin care line designed to support women’s health by providing clinical-strength formulas that are safer for the body. Utilizing Biomimicry, mybody scientists have created skin care products that mimic how the body naturally repairs, defends, and heals itself, with ingredients that are easily recognized and used, for more effective results.

mybody was founded with a movement in mind. Not just a healthy skin movement, but a global movement that advances and advocates for women’s health – all women, as well as the health of their children and families. Without health, beauty is truly vacant.

With the understanding that there is no health without mental health, mybody has partnered with Bring Change 2 Mind to provide relief and important resources to those in need, eliminate the stigmas surrounding brain disorders, and pave a clearer path from illness to wellness.

With your support, mybody is donating 1% of product sales to mental health efforts, and are also increasing that donation to 20% for their top sellers below during the month of May, Mental Health Awareness Month. We hope that you will assist us in spreading the word and helping those in need.

The hope & grace initiative represents an unprecedented and unending commitment by philosophy to support mental health and wellbeing.

Mental health issues are one of the greatest challenges women face. More than 450 million people worldwide suffer from mild to serious mental health issues — such as post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, self-esteem and financial stress — all of which disproportionately affect women around the world.

With the initiative, philosophy becomes the first company to place a deep focus on this important cause and the first major beauty company to make a brand-wide commitment to dedicate 1% of its sales toward the cause.

The program is launching beginning july 2014 by dedicating 1% of all sales on philosophy.com and then will become integrated into all retail, online, and television product sales starting in january 2015.

Through this initiative, philosophy seeks to empower the mental health and wellbeing movement by providing opportunities to raise global awareness of the issues, learn about and support effective organizations and provide resources to bring renewed hope to the lives our community.

We are incredibly honored to partner with philosophy on this important endeavor and to be the recipient of the initial hope & grace initiative grant.
